La Mesa Local
Based in La Mesa, serving all of San Diego County. I know the area because I live here.
“We just moved into our new place and had a massive list. TV mounted, disposal installed, shelves hung, furniture built. He knocked it all out in one afternoon and was so easy to work with. Already have him booked for our next project. Highly recommend!”
Sarah M., La Mesa
“Our side gate latch was broken and the wood around it was completely rotted out. He replaced the latch, rebuilt the damaged section, and the whole thing looks brand new. Super fair price too.”
Dave R., El Cajon
“Had an outdoor water spigot that had been leaking for months. He tracked down the issue, replaced the valve, and it was done in under an hour. Wish I had called sooner.”
Karen L., Spring Valley

Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you serve?
I'm based in La Mesa and serve all of San Diego County, including Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, El Cajon, Carlsbad, and surrounding areas.
How much does it cost?
Each project is quoted individually and must stay under $1,000 total (labor + materials) per California's handyman exemption. Estimates are always free.
Do I need to be home during the work?
It depends on the job. For small repairs I can often coordinate key access, but for larger tasks it's helpful to be available for questions.
How quickly can you start?
Most jobs are scheduled within a few days. For urgent repairs, I do my best to accommodate same-week requests.
What if a job is outside your skill set?
I'll tell you. If something needs a licensed specialist like electrical panel work, major plumbing, or structural changes, I'll say so up front and point you in the right direction instead of winging it.
Are you a licensed contractor?
No. I operate as an unlicensed handyperson under California Business & Professions Code §7048. That means each project must be under $1,000 total (labor + materials), must not require a building permit, and is considered casual, minor, or inconsequential work. Jobs that exceed that threshold or need permits require a licensed contractor, and I'll refer you to one.
Ready to Cross It Off Your List?
Tell me what you need and I'll get back to you, usually the same day. No job too small.
